Trixie spent a week on Tiree in 2010 
where she had a good scramble at Vaul 
and spent hours exploring the rocks and sand at Gott Bay 
. We decided to go there because we’d read it often had excellent weather – but our windproofs got well used that week. In hindsight (realising Trixie has been to nearly all western islands) we should have gone to Coll as well but we were staying in a caravan bookable by the week.
