We had an opportunity to be in the Highlands in February. It was the weekend of a storm and the weather was pretty rough so it wouldn’t have been much fun being outdoors, plus we had a lot of things to deal with, so we returned south of the border.
March was a different story. A weekend with an excellent weather forecast some snow left meant Trixie had her first experience of going on a chairlift and sledging! 
She also walked all the way up and down Creag Dhubh 
and lapped up a little more of a part-frozen lochan 
– same rock as last time, different side.
