Lochaber for NY 2026

We had whizzed around on a few drives since the Granny left us, but we hadn’t been very far up for a proper pure holiday purposes. It was time. We had taken the electrics out of the catmobile and it was going to be really cold so we booked a little pod by Duror forest. It wasn’t cheap but it was absolutely stunning. We both enjoyed watching the wildlife right outside – RED squirrels, SO many birds we haven’t seen for years, and a pine marten.

We (of course) spent some time in Glen Coe and Glen Etive as well.

I even dropped in to the Clachaig to see in the NY and had a most interesting experience.
